Recently, actress Sonali Bendre went back to the day she received her cancer diagnosis. She claimed that following the diagnosis, she frequently awoke in the hopes that her condition was only a bad dream. But in order to get through the challenging moments, Sonali had a mental shift. Rather than asking herself, "Why me?," she began asking herself, "Why not me?"  


Sonali recently spoke with Humans of Bombay. "I would wake up thinking it was all a nightmare; I couldn't believe that this could happen to me."

However, the actor from "Hum Saath Saath Hain" altered her perspective. That's when I started to shift the way I thought," she remarked. rather than "why me?" I began to wonder, "Why not me? 


I came to the realization that I had the fortitude to handle this, the means to visit the top hospitals, and a network of support to get me through it." "Beginning to ask 'why not me?' helped me start the healing process," the actor said in closing.


In 2018, Sonali Bendre received a cancer diagnosis. The actress and her husband, Goldie Behl, had to travel to the United States for treatment.

The actor had previously disclosed that the doctor had given her only a thirty percent chance of survival when she arrived in New York. In an interview, she stated, "The day after I arrive in New York, we visit the doctor.


After reviewing everything, we sent him all of our test results, and he informed us that we were in the fourth stage with a 30% chance of survival. That truly got to me; I remember turning to Goldie and exclaiming, "Thank God, you got me right here."
